This Asus 360Hz monitor is the lowest price it's been thanks to this Dishonourable Fri gambling monitor deal

ROG Swift
(Fancy credit: Asus)

I've long been a proponent of ill-smelling refresh range monitors. Sure, 4K sounds like a good time, only after spending big on a ROG Swift 165Hz monitor a few old age ago, I'm non sure I could go cover. Maybe I could expire forward, though, as I'm definitely tempted by the ROG Gustavus Franklin Swift PG259QN—the 360Hz younger cousin of my increasingly senescent screen. Especially when a Sinister Fri deal on one of our best gambling monitors makes it available for its lowest ever Price, connected sale at Newegg for $499.

This is the starting time time the Mary Leontyne Pric has dropped to a lower place the $500 mark—ab initio of the twelvemonth it was going for $700, so this is really nice deliverance on a monitor full of bells and whistles. Newegg is besides throwing in an Asus ROG Gladuis Cardinal Sum play mouse, which normally goes for $50, so that's a very nice fillip on top of the reduced terms.

  • For many Black Friday gaming Microcomputer deals... hither they are.

It's a 24.5", 1080p IPS panel. Traditionally, IPS has meant best colours at the cost of lower response multiplication, but Asus claims its "Fast IPS" tech way a 1ms reaction time. The real meat here is the G-Sync functionality, providing 360Hz refresh rates.

Do you need a display that fast? Certainly not if your graphics circuit card isn't up to the task—if you're already struggling to hit a constant 60fps in modern games, so you're not going to see the difference on screen. If you've managed to clutch unitary of the newer RTX 30-serial publication card game, though, you may well come the benefit. And if you haven't upgraded your supervise awhile, you'll be amazed at what a difference it can make.

For me, I'd still be more tempted by the 32", 1440p variant—even though it's 'solitary' 175Hz, that's still more dissolute enough for my middle-30s mental reaction time, and the extra resolution feels the ideal size for gaming at a desk. Alas, that uncomparable doesn't seem to live going threepenny in this twelvemonth's Black Fri deals.

This, then, is a great choice if you'rhenium more limited in space, operating room simply have the noesis bandwidth to actually keep up with a 360Hz screen out.
